In the mid 1950's, Kirk Campbell, founder of
Bell Stone Company, began working alongside his grandfather and
father at B&B Cut Stone, a producer of dimensional limestone, marble
and granite, for architectural and residential applications, in
Shreveport, Louisiana. Kirk is the third generation in his family
with experience in the stone industry.
In 1992, Bell Stone Company was founded in
Phoenix, Arizona. From a modest beginning in a two-car garage, Bell Stone Company has
enjoyed steady growth. The company has moved several times during
its development in the Valley, each time to larger quarters. The
current facility is a 18,000 square foot building which has allowed
Bell Stone to double its residential production and fabricate large
commercial projects.
Today, the
award-winning company employs over 80
highly-skilled craftsmen, a powerful sales team and helpful customer
service staff to specialize in and provide quality slab fabrication
and installation.
Leading the Slab Division is Ron Gospodarek,
Assistant General Manager and Head of Slab Production. Ron has over
14 years' experience in the natural stone industry and closely
monitors the Production Department. He oversees operation of
our sophisticated CNC and waterjet equipment, in addition to
management of traditional production
methods to ensure that you receive high quality and fast turnaround.
In addition to slab fabrication and
installation, (typically used for countertops), Bell Stone also
offers tile as a great choice for floors and walls. Dean Parks,
General Manager of the Tile Division, and Mike Jarvinen, Project
Manager and Field
Superintendent, each have over 26 years' experience in the tile
business. The Tile Division at Bell Stone delivers personalized
attention and our level of service is unmatched. With daily on-site
visits to every job, Mike ensures that each of our customers
receives the utmost quality expected. Dean Parks completed a Ceramic
Tile Consultant (CTC) curriculum in 2001. This curriculum is
accredited through the Ceramic Tile Institute of America and needs
to be renewed annually to keep updated on new and improved methods
of installation and regulations. Our methods either meet or exceed
all of the recommendations from the Tile Council of America (TCA),
and are the time-honored methods that have been used for
generations. All of our wall and counter work is the "mud-set"
method, the preferred application.
